Raleigh City Farmers’ Market is coming to the end of its “first harvest.” This Wednesday, September 24 marks our last market for the year and we encourage you to come out one more time to shop and celebrate our first season together. Come find the best, most local vegetables, fresh-baked breads and pastries, pasture-raised meats, local seafood, cocktail mixers, locally roasted coffee, flowers, and more, and enjoy market favorites Sarah Osborne and Chef James Edwards as they play us some great classic tunes to wrap up the year.What a wonderful summer we have had. Raleigh City Farmers’ Market would like to foremost thank all of our farmers and vendors who participated in the first ever season--we really couldn’t have asked for a better, more dynamic group to help create a complete-meal market. Next, thank you to all of our featured chefs and musicians. Thank you to City Market for allowing us to showcase our offerings on the cobblestone streets of a historic venue. And, of course, a big thank you to our customers who came to shop and support our local producers. We wish you all the best and hope to see you next year! Thank you to everyone who came by to shop, stretch, and sample!Don’t forget about us in fall and winter months! We’re planning to regroup from this opening market and are going to work hard to prepare for the next season. In the meantime, we hope that you’ll continue to support our vendors, many of whom can be found at Saturday markets around Raleigh.
