Kevin Brice is a professional executive with twenty years of experience in nonprofit management. He currently is President of the City of Oaks Foundation, which pursues a dual mission to conserve natural areas for Raleigh’s citizens and visitors using collaborative approaches of acquiring land, and to sponsor efforts that move people to explore Raleigh’s natural and cultural resources. He helped identify Raleigh City Farm's 800 N. Blount St. location.Kevin spent seventeen years with Triangle Land Conservancy, where he began as a volunteer and culminated with an 8-year tenure as president and chief executive officer. His leadership of Triangle Land Conservancy resulted in several significant achievements, including: producing $81 million in revenue and growing assets by 165%; raising an annual budget of $1.2 million and conducting a successful $5.5 million capital campaign; managing a staff of 12 professionals and stewarding an 18-member board of directors.He is a prominent conservation advocate in the region, working with business leaders, the Triangle’s US Congressional delegation, the state legislature and local governments to promote voluntary land conservation. Kevin also worked for the Land Trust Alliance, which is the national association of local land trusts and conservancies. He was recruited to establish and direct the Land Trust Alliance’s Southeast US Program. He began his professional career as associate vice president of global operations for a private investment firm, managing projects in Europe, Australia and Singapore.Kevin grew up on the south side of Chicago, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Yale University and earned three varsity letters as a running back for Yale Football. He and his wife Mary (who is a civil engineer specializing in water resources) live in Raleigh with their three young children. Kevin is past president of the Rotary Club of West Raleigh, board president of the Environmental Education Fund, and served on the Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Greenways Advisory Board.
