We’re excited to host our annual spring fundraising event — a dual celebration of our birthday and Earth Day!

This year marks the tenth year of Raleigh City Farm’s founding, and we can’t wait to show off all of the recent site improvements and introduce our new Farm Manager.

This year’s celebration is re-envisioned to ensure a fun and safe experience for our visitors. Pre-order either a delicious three course meal from The Pounded Pig (with produce sourced from RCF!), or a family biscuit box. At pick up, enjoy a guided tour of the farm enhanced by plein air artists, musicians, and free cupcakes (while supplies last)!

Enjoy a take home multi-course meal from Stacy Murphy of The Pounded Pig!

Stacy Murphy is the chef and owner of The Pounded Pig food trailer. She started her career working in NOLA for Emeril Lagasse. From there she went on to work in numerous award winning and James Beard recognized restaurants, including Ming Tsai's, Blue Ginger. After starting a family with her husband and relocating to Raleigh, she focused on a concept that would allow her to maintain the same level of technique and standards while having more control over her career and hours. She makes everything from scratch and sources local whenever possible.

Farm Tours

When you purchase your ticket, you can enjoy a farm tour during your selected pick up time if you like! You’ll get to meet our new Farm Manager, Maria Williford, and learn more about improvements in these areas:

Greenhouse
Composting Station

Live Music

When you walk through to pick up your ticketed food purchase, enjoy live music from our Farm Stage!

Plein Air Artists

Five plein air artists will be on the farm during our Bearthday Celebration, and a percentage of their sales will be donated to RCF! You’ll be able to watch these talented artists on the big day:
