How Raleigh City Farm Addresses Food Insecurity
Our major program initiatives focus on growing healthy food for our community — and ensuring that 95% of our harvest is affordable and accessible.
All year long we share our produce with local nonprofits that address food insecurity and access through our Farmshare program. We also host a seasonal Pay-What-You-Can Farmstand where members of the Raleigh community can purchase produce, herbs, and flowers.

Rooted in Raleigh
Raleigh City Farm is a nonprofit urban farm founded in 2011 on a formerly vacant one-acre lot in downtown Raleigh. In 2025, we announced our expansion into a second location at Marsh Creek Park.
