Volunteering for Large Groups

 Schedule a Team Workday

Interested in a private Team Workday for your group? A limited number of 2-hour Workdays are available seasonally.* Workdays can be scheduled between 9am-4pm and are led by an experienced staff member or volunteer.

Your group will receive a tour of the farm’s production areas and buildings, then dig in for some volunteer work! Learn about our growing techniques, community partners, and take away some gardening tips.

Minimum group size for volunteers is 12; maximum is 24. Contact volunteer@raleighcityfarm.org to learn more and please allow one week for a response, since we are experiencing a high volume of requests.

*If we can’t accommodate your request, we can connect you with one of our farm friends at Camden Street Learning Garden, Half-a-Barn Farm, Haven Farm, The Well Fed Community Garden, Project Pando or Reclamation FARMacy. Please allow up to seven days for a response as we are experiencing a high volume of requests.

It is completely free to book a private team workday at Raleigh City Farm. We appreciate the support (and sweat!) of our local community, who keep our small farm growing. We would be honored if you considered making a donation in conjunction with your workday.
