Our First Saturday Series brings neighbors together to learn, volunteer, and enjoy the farm.

Inspired by Downtown Raleigh’s First Friday, our First Saturday Series invites you to start your month with purpose and connection. From May through October, we open our gates on the first Saturday morning of each month to welcome neighbors for a joyful mix of volunteering, learning, and community fun.

You can sign up for hands-on activities like volunteering workdays, farm tours, workshops, and our whimsical weed walks. Or simply stroll the grounds, enjoy the season’s beauty, and drop in to shop our Pay-What-You-Can Farmstand pop-up. It will pop up when the harvest is abundant & available; check our Instagram for up-to-date information.

All our First Saturday activities are free to attend. Registration is required for certain activities (see below) and donations are encouraged for attendees!
