Donating food to nonprofits that address food insecurity and access

WHAT:

Giving Tuesday is a global giving movement. Raleigh City Farm is fundraising for our Farmshare Program.

WHY:

We are donating food to nonprofits that address food insecurity and access and need your support as we go into the winter months. Thanks to many generous donors, we were able to purchase a greenhouse and start growing produce year-round!

Our Goal:
Raise $5,000+ by #GivingTuesday on December 1st.

When we reach our goal, we’ll be able to grow and donate 1,000 lbs. of food and feed 200+ people!

HOW:

There are many ways you can help us reach our $5,000 fundraising goal!

1 ) Shop Local in our Online Auction. When you bid in our online auction, you’re supporting our Farmshare Program where we donate food to nonprofits addressing food insecurity and access. Items range from yoga classes to oil paintings.

2) Shop Farm Swag in our Online Store. We have hats, stickers, mugs and more! Give a Raleigh City Farm gift to a loved one (or treat yourself!) this holiday season and share it forward.

3) Give a One-Time Gift. A gift of any size is a gift towards addressing food insecurity and access. Give a gift today and put “Farmshare” in the memo.

4) Join Cultivator Club. If you become one of our monthly supporters, you’ll be supporting our Farmshare Program, plus you have the option to get gifts and perks for yourself.

Other ways to donate: Prefer writing checks? Checks can be made out to “Raleigh City Farm” (include “Farmshare” in the memo) and mailed to:

800 N. Blount Street
Raleigh, NC 27604

WHEN:

You can start now! #GivingTuesday is on December 1st, but your giving can start now.

We will continue to update you all on this program throughout the year — follow along on Facebook or Instagram

Thank You!

Thank you for all your years of support. We are looking forward to many more years of our community engaged in a vibrant, sustainable food system reinforced by a network of thriving farmers.
