Josh is the founder and CEO of TransLoc, a company making mass transit easier to use. His interest in food and lifestyle reform began when he set out to understand why his mother was sick with diabetes. To his dismay, he found a misguided food culture and exploitative food system at the root. Then he fell in love with composting and gardening, started a community garden, visited Growing Power in Milwaukee, and came back bent on starting Raleigh’s first commercial urban farm.
