Christopher Rumbley

After consulting on the project since its conception, Christopher stepped up to join Raleigh City Farm’s Board of Directors in August 2012 and into the CEO role in September 2013. With fresh energy and local experience in social enterprise, food systems, applied permaculture and sustainable community development he aims for Raleigh City Farm to demonstrate how urban agriculture can add significant value to quality of life, neighborhood resilience and economic vitality in Raleigh. He imagines a time when sustainable agriculture is integrally woven, as the norm, into the fabric of cities and towns across North Carolina.Christopher also operates a small ecological design/build business, Naked Fruits and is partner in the startup BODHI Architecture.
