Join us for this special workshop in the garden at Raleigh City Farm’s Blount Street location on July 30th, 2026.

As Mend Mother prepares for their move into Lump/plum in September, they are working hard to make the transition as smooth as possible.

The base ticket price for this event is $40

- $30 goes to Mend Mother

- $10 goes to Raleigh City Farm

If you feel able, please consider contributing a tad more to your ticket price to help Mend Mother with their moving and transition costs.

This workshop will teach you the basics of darning and simple embroidery stitches. Students can bring their own items from their closets to fix during the class and the instructor will help to provide tailored repair solutions while also giving specific demonstrations to the entire group. Students will have all the materials they need to get started and will be provided with scrap fabric to practice their skills on.
