CROP MOB Volunteer Workday!

We’re clearing the production space and getting ready for spring! Can you help us dig in? This volunteer CROP MOB workday is from 1 PM - 4 PM at the Farm. **NOTE THE TIME CHANGE! The crop mob was originally slated to start at 9am, but we’ve decided to push back the start time to allow the temperature to come up. The warmer temperatures (48 instead of 31) and drier field conditions should optimize your comfort and our productivity.

A crop mob is like a modern-day barn raising — a group of volunteers descends on a farm to do agriculture work. The term was founded by North Carolinian Rob Jones, a former board member of RCF! So, no experience necessary for this CROP MOB! Just be ready to dig in (rain or shine).

Our focus will be digging up the production area—we've got a lot of ground to cover and need all hands on deck. (BYOS: Bring your own shovel, if possible).

What do we do? What should I bring? Where should I park?

Read through our Frequently Asked Questions document to learn more. Please consider biking, walking, ride sharing or using on-street parking; our retail neighbors rely on the spaces in the Person Street Plaza.
