“Coming together as friends under the stars for Harvest Dinner was the perfect jolt of hope and magic. A fabulous evening with incredible live music, food, wine and great company all in support of this incredible Raleigh treasure. One of my friends even claimed ‘it was the best night of her life’ and I can’t argue with that! Thank you, for all you bring to our community.” — Beth

Harvest Dinner 2026 Details

It's time for our annual tradition of celebrating another season of growth and change at our nonprofit urban farm! Harvest Dinner features a multi-course dinner under the stars with locally sourced ingredients and wine and beer pairings. We’re excited to partner with Chef Chun of Brewery Bhavana this year!

Once again, we’re hosting a two-hour reception featuring passed hors d’oeuvres and beverages from Brewery Bhavana and Wine Authorities before the seated dinner.

Guests can mix and mingle on our expanded site, enjoy live music, take photos at our Big Blooms mural, and bid on silent auction items.

Restaurant Partner & The Menu

This year’s Harvest Dinner will be prepared for you by Chef Chun of Brewery Bhavana.

SEED: Brewery Bhavana is many things: a brewery, a taproom, a flower shop, a bookstore, a dim sum house and a Chinese restaurant. At its core, though, it is a gathering place. It is a living room for the city.

SOW: Its story begins in 2014 after years of travel and shared meals with friends throughout the world, a seed was sown in Raleigh, NC. That seed grew to be a reflection of who we are, what we aspire to, and perspectives that show how diverse and dynamic the city of Raleigh truly is. Bhavana’s origins were less of a concept and more a collection of friends aspiring to show the hand of the maker in everything we do.

SPROUT: Belgian brewing is marked for its elegance and subtlety. Patrick, our founding brewer, sought to bring those characteristics to American craft beer — especially IPAs, pales ales, and lagers, and barrel-aged saison and sour beer, where the delicacy of balance and structure could make them ideal companions to the cuisine our makers had spent the last few years exploring.

BLOOM: Twelve years ago, when we planted the seeds for this project, we did not know how beautifully it would grow — including a flower shop, a bookstore, and an endless array of events and gatherings that came to define our community.

How You’re Helping

By investing your time as a volunteer or resources as a sponsor, auction donor or guest, you’re helping us advance our mission to connect and nourish our community through regenerative agriculture. You’re helping us grow soil, farmers, food and a healthier community.

Here’s the impact of your contribution:

Sustaining the Growth of Raleigh City Farm

Harvest Dinner is our largest and most important fundraiser! Event proceeds fuel our annual operating budget and are critical for fertilizing the growth and sustainability of our 1.2 acre nonprofit urban farm. They also support expansion into our second location at Marsh Creek Park in partnership with the City of Raleigh’s Parks Recreation and Cultural Resources Department.

Feeding and Connecting Our Community

Our Pay-What-You Can Farmstand and Farmshare programs ensure that 95% of our produce is made more affordable and accessible to the community. Last year, we harvested ~10,000 lbs of food, and we are on track to replicate this success!

Education and Engagement activities like workdays and First Saturday Series connect people and plants and build a stronger, healthier community.

Growing the Next Generation of Farmers

Our vision is a healthy community supporting the next generation of farmers. By investing in Raleigh City Farm, you’re championing the importance of training new farmers through our internship program.
