Herbed Yogurt Dressing Recipe

Herbed Yogurt Dressing 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (low-fat, full-fat or greek style are fine)

  • 3 tbls olive oil

  • 2-3 tbls fresh lemon juice

  • 1 garlic clove crushed

  • ½ tsp. salt

  • Handful of your favorite herbs (e.g., basil, parsley, cilantro, green onions, chives, mint or any combination thereof)

  • Additional pepper and salt to taste

 

Directions

  • Blend all ingredients in food processor or blender

  • Add additional salt and pepper as needed.

  • Pour on salad.

 

Variations

  • Add your favorite spices and/or tahini

  • Add grated lemon or other citrus zest

  • Substitute shallots for garlic

  • Substitute some or all of lemon juice for your favorite red or white wine vinegar.
