Harvest Dinner 2026 Recap!
When you’re a farm, rain is your friend. Drizzle? Bring it. Showers? Yes, please. Downpour? Sign us up. When you’re a committee trying to throw an outdoor farm dinner party for 184 eager guests? You’d like to tell it to go away and come back another day. (We tried!) In the end, we accepted the rain check and were grateful for the weather our crops truly needed. We quit being grumpy and moved our 15th Anniversary Harvest Dinner to the rain date. Perhaps because we decided to be good-natured about the whole thing, our guests were rewarded with outstanding weather the following evening, complete with an electric pink sunset that lit the sky just as seats were taken.
It was a spectacular night, with many successes. The first success: our small but mighty farm netted $70,000 (our highest total ever) to advance our mission: to connect and nourish our community through regenerative agriculture. This annual fundraiser is a crucial source of funding for us, but we only consider it a true success if we’re kind to the land - and environment - while doing it. We’re proud to report that our friends at CompostNow collected 102 lbs of compostables at the event, creating 26 lbs of compost, which will be used to nourish gardens and landscapes throughout our community. And another success? Doing good while having fun. It’s hard not to have a good time in such special surroundings.
Immense gratitude to our title sponsor, Easter Maynard, who has shown tremendous support for this event year after year and remains one of our most cherished friends. Huge thanks and applause for Chef Chun and her team at Brewery Bhavana for the incredible multi-course meal showcasing the beautiful bounty grown right here on our one-acre site. The beer from Brewery Bhavana and the wine from our neighbor Wine Authorities were excellent complements to the good food and vibes.
Thanks to all of our sponsors and partners—your generosity is a huge part of our success. The work of our wonderful volunteers before, during, and after the event was critical to our ability to see our plans through to fruition. Thank you to Maria Williford and Colleen Yeager, our rockstar co-Farm Managers, and their Farm team, who are diligent stewards of the site. It has truly never looked and tasted better.
And of course, this event would not have been possible without YOU, our community, who keep our small but mighty Farm not just growing but thriving. Until next year, see you around the Farm!
